In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of the top travel and local apps on a unified platform in Latin America showcased significant trends in downloads and active user engagement. Here's a closer look at the top five apps.

Airbnb saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 402K at the beginning of October and peaking at about 592K in the final week of December. Active users also rose steadily, from around 8.4M to an impressive 12.3M over the quarter.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers fluctuating between 224K and 336K weekly. Despite a slight dip in active users from 1.9M to 1.5M, the app managed to generate a peak weekly revenue of $175.

Decolar: Voos e Hotéis experienced a surge in downloads mid-quarter, reaching a high of 267K in early November. Active users showed a robust increase from 2.1M to 3.2M by the end of December.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel had a strong finish with downloads climbing from 178K at the start of the quarter to nearly 289K. The app's active users rose from 6.4M to 8.7M, marking a significant engagement boost.

Google Earth showed stable download figures, ranging from 93K to 150K weekly. Active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating around the 2.2M mark throughout the quarter.
